Hi Folks,
I stumbled upon this thread and wanted to share my experience with GT Sport and also ask a question on a Nami (Klima or similar). I have been riding the Uscooters GTSE following by GTS for more than 2 years now. This is an amazing lightweight scooter that can hit 27-28 mph and going up paved slopes is a breeze. I also live in NYC and do last might commutes to work and from work home as well as joy ride. The only issue that I've experienced with this scooter is the lock in pin for the stem high / low position getting dislodged and dropping into the stem. Just wanted to mention if you ever find the this pin getting stuck inside and not getting sprung out as it should, imho you can carefully get it pulled out with a sharp object, but without pressing it in (as it would just drop into the stem below), just carefully trying to pick it from sides with a sharp object and it will pop back out in place. My pin got dropped into the stem and I had to take to a scooter repair shop and the guys did a good job on fixing it (I think it's called Mini Motors on Nostrand and ave S approximately) . I am now extra cautious with this pin , but the repair folks installed a more rigid spring , so it doesn't get stuck in again. Otherwise this scooter is amazing for being lightweight and so zippy.
I also wanted to ask a question on a Nami scooter (i.e. Klima). I am planning on purchasing one and I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with being able to fit it into a sedan (such as a Nissan Altima 4d) and also how you guys fit it , i.e. trunk or back seat or folded back seat maybe.
I also wanted to ask a question on a Nami in regards to being able to tie it up (stem and deck) with zip ties and then being able to carry it by the stem. I need to carry it upstairs to the second floor in my case.
Thank you in advance, Michael.
