Foldable Handlebars for Apollo Phantom V2

We’re looking for advisement on any aftermarket folding handlebar options, (or other solution), as the Phantom stem mount is very wide and therefore challenging to find any compatible folding handlebars…
We’re having a hard time carefully loading our scooter through the back seat door of our car since it won’t quite fit in the trunk unless slightly tipped, and then the handlebars are too long to shut the trunk lid.
(Obviously we want safe / secure setup like our VSETT 10+ folding handlebars.)

I know Apollo sells a conversion so you can add the Phantom non-folding bars to a Apollo Ghost, so why couldn’t you just get a Ghost bar set-up and swap it over? I tried to find the video to link it but I had no luck. But I’ve seen the video and they mentioned Apollo offers the conversion for Phantom bars on a Ghost, so I’d just reach out and Ghost bars for your Phantom. I was actually going to do the conversion to my Ghost, fearing the folding bars would be a problem, but they’ve been rock solid and I actually had to fold them not long ago, so I’m glad I actually had them.

I already reached out to Apollo Support team regarding any folding handlebar options from Apollo or aftermarket that would be compatible with the unique Phantom V2’s huge handlebar clamp which is about 4.5 inches wide and “accommodates the display and headlight mounting…”

Apollo said; “At the moment, we do not have the option to fold the handlebars of the Apollo Phantom Scooter nor have we ever tried it before. It is something that I hope we are able to offer in the future”.

Other scooters, including the ghost, typically have much narrower clamp design. The vertical post seems a bit smaller on the ghost. (Maybe that’s where the conversion kit you mentioned comes in to play?) Also, all the folding handlebars I’ve seen so far are designed for a narrower handlebar clamp, like that of a bicycle…

So, to me, it would seem best to find some type of folding handlebar setup able to accommodate the large existing clamp on the Phantom V2, that way it would be an easier swap.
(I’m obviously very interested in any help to get this done, as long as it’s a safe and stable as our VSETT 10+)

Thanks to anyone who can help us. Currently we have a hell of a time getting this scooter into the (folded down) back seat of our car. Our VSETT 10 fits in the trunk… (I miss our SUV…)
