Electric Scooter for long distance.

Hey everyone. I am making up my mind to buy an electric scooter which can give me good mileage as I like to travel. Kindly suggest me some electric scooters with good specifications. No matter what the price tag is because I want to spend some money to buy a long lasting electric scooter.

If you are ready to shove some $$$ in, pretty much all the flagship scooters from big brands can take you well over 50 miles. Nami, Kaabo, Vsett, Dualtron just to name a few. Personally if money is no object I would take the Thunder / Storm, as they are both well know for range + build quality.

Anything further than that I think you are looking at the wrong mode of transport.

If you want a little more speed, I agree with YiXin , although know that when you first get on, even 20MPH will feel pretty dang fast, let alone the 40-50MPH that some of those scooters reach.

What ever you do , DON’T BUY A GOTRAX! Both of my gotrax scooters had bad batteries. 2 months in my gotrax battery took a crap on me. they sent another battery under warranty but that went bad in 2 weeks and they said , “your on your own” I did not even bother trying to get another battery for my other gotrax. I gave them away to some kids in my neighborhood.

I’m a little surprised to hear about your experience. Although a GOTRAX is not my preferred ride choice, it’s highly used by the rental scooter companies, and people abuse + beat the crap out of them. I would imagine if they failed in high numbers the rental companies would not use them. They sit in the rain and heat of Florida day in day out , so you have to respect that. I think your experience is unique and hopefully they help you out.

RideGOTRAX Bought them from Staples around 2018. I don’t have any proof or order number , it was a while ago. Gotrax wanted to sell me a battery for $100 plus shipping. I promise you I had two of your scooters and they both were bad. I sent photos of the electronics with the battery out and one of the connections was a little discolored inside of the scooter down in the neck. I checked my other scooter and the same thing happened. Together they were $900 or a little over with tax. I’m sure Gotrax has come a long way since then but the frustration was not worth it.

Miik-Mal6 Got it. I can assure you we have drastically changed since 2018. We’ve created and redesigned a new parts page for both Electric Scooters and E-bikes. We’ve doubled the amount of Customer Service Representatives working customer questions, claims, and more. We are expanding our line-up of electric scooters and e-bikes for adults in 2023 as well. Our Warranty has also been extended to a 1 Year Limited so customers are covered for longer.

isohaibmalik those are all pretty cheap scooters. Mostly likely won’t last long. I would avoid all of them.

If you wan’t something that will last a while and won’t break the bank, then get a Ninebot Max or NIU KQi3 Pro. You get what you pay for with scooters. Anything under $500 is generally junk.
