Anyone else have a lot of trouble getting after market add on and alterations?
My scooter is a remake of the zero 10X but every company that sells parts for the Zero says they are not compatible with mine…so ….. now I am using motorcycle and car parts.
Last 3 days was the end of a 5 day project that I began last month. Spiked tires that can handle 30+ MPH on show and ice. Once I got past 15 MPH my tubes could not handle the situation.
So I tried solid tires (don’t like going over 15 mph) and I looked at tube less, but I have a split rim so that was a no go. $100 dog toys hahah.
Then I did what a reasonable person would and contacted 3 tire manufacturers, several scooter parts and motorcycle parts shops and recruited the manager at the local tire shop to help.
Once again had to make my own… test run did 25 MPH on ice and snow.. passing cars and laughing like a mad man!!
I still have pneumatic tires that require tubes…but I don’t have any tubes. lol
once I adjust the power level to lower the toque below setting 1 and reduce the regenerative break strength to Off…i should be able to do 30 MPH with no hiccups.
I peel out taking off and I fish tail slowing down as of now.. but its fun as hell!
