I’m assuming you don’t have split rims. I’ve found that the smaller the tire the harder it is to install. Only 2 tips I have are:
1) There is a rubber softener called P-80. It smells and looks like sour milk. You put it on, wait 30 seconds or so and it softens the rubber and provides a lubed surface. Once it dries it all turns back to normal.
2) Leave the tire in the sun to help soften it up before trying to install it.
They actually make mini tire machines to install these little tires. I can’t wait to see one of these machines in person. I used to work at a motorcycle shop and out tire machine wen’t down to 10″ rim size, and I happened to have a Vespa P200Eat the time.
