I am used to modifications for the muffler and air intake.. so this electric scooter is a bit new to me.
So I started slow with off road tires and custom string lights.
then I ordered mirrors, alarm/horn, and slider bolts
Now I made custom ice/snow spiked tires!
I am in need to guidance though. There is so many parts and so many scooters that are rebrands. I would rather not custom make parts that I can order from someone smarter than my self.
I plan to convert my finger throttle into a custom wrist throttle. BUT I want rear mirrors with inlayed blinkers that come out of my handle bars. So I am not sure how that is gonna play out. QS S4 LCD finger throttle converted into a QS S4 wrist throttle because I can not find them…perhaps because its stupid and the first person to try it threw it in the garbage afterwards.
I plan to customize my deck with a LCD/Plexiglass + anti slip deck cover (similar to the Hover 1 Jive)
Is a GPS really worth it when your scooter stands out like a clown at a funeral any way?
So… as of now I am going to keep the right arm with wrist throttle and switch my rear break handle to the right side of the scooter. My left side will have a thumb button (LOUD) horn that is going to slightly hang off the bottom of the bars….AND on the bars thumb button blinkers (hopefully for my inlay mirrors).
Any ways.. I got too much time on my hand and like to customize and alter things as a life style.
How many of these ideas sound like a bad idea?
What have you done that you LOVE for your scooter?
Know of any great sites to order parts from and not wait 2 months for shipping?
