I’ve worked with GOTRAX for close to two years now. We have always been looking for new ways to connect with our riders. I’ll be in here to assist with technical questions and assistance as best I can and hopefully assisting people so they can get back to riding. Looking forward to hearing from y’all.

Welcome. You are not going be too popular here. I would definitely avoid posting in the e-scooters sub on Reddit, or you’re going to get thrashed.
GoTrax is well known to be nothing more than e-waste, to put it bluntly. They never last more than 3 months. Complete junk.

2muchcoffee4me I manage our Reddit page as well and have seen the posts you are talking about. While people have posted about some of the negative experiences they’ve had, I have also seen plenty of good ones. Everything from our V2 to the GMAX Ultra. Taking care of them and only having to swap brake pads after a few hundred miles.

I assist those that are experiencing issues by offering troubleshooting assistance or links to parts or sending them to the proper channels to file a claim with our Customer Support Team. I plan to do the same here.

Swapping brake pads “after a few hindered miles”? I’ve driven further than that in just 2 weeks time before on vacation.
I’m 2500 kms into riding my Kaabo Mantis, still on the original set? Don’t the Gotrax have regen braking as well like the Ninebots?

Is that typical of maintenance on that brand?

PaulN Few hundred being around 500 miles on average. Its not regen, but an electromagnetic brake in the motor wheel. It’s mostly about use and how people are braking. I still use an apex that I think is at 700ish miles and I haven’t had an issue.

PaulN holy crap how do you ride a few hundred miles in 2 weeks on one scooter? Both of my scooters don’t even have that much juice in them to go that long in 2 weeks what’s the secret I wanna know

When I went to Florida on vacation.
I parked my van and rode all around Orlando every day, Just chose a different direction/destination then charged every evening when i came back. Barely used the van while i was there. I posted some pictures on earlier posts here of that trip. I bought a bike lock to go shopping or eat and chained the scooter to anything solid. Riding mostly on single motor turbo, I got tired before the scooter did range wise.
I’ll be doing that again about a month from now… The YUME is a little too big to lug in and out of the van @ 122 pounds. Be nice because it’s range is really something but not practical for a trip.

mmmmm the Surron would be nice, but man they are pricey and the range is not what I would expect for the money paid for one.

PaulN pegascooter sells them for around 3k and the nami for around 2-3k. From what I know and what they told me they buy them from the factory that’s why prices are low but it takes like 1-2 months to arrive

ItsAqua Yep. Factory direct. Pega is who I ordered my Nami from. $3200USD for the Burn E2 Max 40ah. Inbound now. Expected 45-60 days.

2muchcoffee4me that’s the price you paid with taxes included? I’m thinking of just skipping on the nami and getting a surron and getting the bike pedals installed so the police don’t pull me over
