After riding the Wide Wheel Pro for a year I can tell you that I have narrowed my #1 most important criteria down to just one thing, ride quality. The WWP taught me this very important lesson. I bought it because it was a hill climber and I needed this. So I like the dual motor scoots but damn, all the rims are broken, It can’t handle even the smallest bumps in the road without a problem. Don’t be jumping curbs, or nothin’. It’s built for strait roads with no cracks. So now I’m looking for ride quality and you don’t see ESG talk much about which scooter has the absolute unparalleled best ride. But I’m seeking advise on that, but with dual motors, and good build. Also a longer deck wouldn’t hurt.

I may be biased since i own one but the nami burn e2 has a great suspension. You do need to set it up for your weight right out the box but the quality is smooth. Nice n plush over most road issues but you’ll still feel a nice jolt over potholes or bigger road issues than the normal stuff. Obviously has plenty of power and range and comes at a steep price point but well made and worth the price in my opinion.

DubS I appreciate your input of course. I’m just not looking at that price point. 2500.00 tops. Maybe one day though. I guess it depends if I’m just as addicted to scooters after my next purchase as I am after the first. I think your probably not biased in your opinion about the Nami Burn e2 because of course you got what you paid for. I’m just looking to pay a bit less.

Price range is correct and it checks all your boxes with good on board accessories, off and on road ready (Hybird tires)

I don’t want to be a broken record here but that scooter delivers what most people would ever need for $2500.00 or lees

You can get the 28ah version of the burn e2 for around 2200 shipped if you go through aliexpress or pegascooter. I got mine from pegascooter and it was around that price. Took a little over a month to arrive but it was well worth the wait.

The fact that you are mentioning broken rims… I’m no engineer but based on my understanding the job of suspensions is to dampen the impact above the wheels, and the tires are absorbing most of the impact onto the wheels. So to me the solid tires on the WWP are causing the damage on your rims.

With that being said, I think you might be interested in something with more robust tires, perhaps even off-road tires to handle the road condition you ride in. Preferably a split rim design to make it easier for swapping out tires / change tubes.

Yea. 100% legit. Very long shipping times but obviously worth the wait for the price savings. Mine took close to 45 days to arrive. Exceptionally packaged, 0 damage during shipping.

What’s funny is my front controller crapped out 7 miles into riding. I was just in front of my house so it wasn’t an issue but the scooter vibrated like crazy and i stopped riding it. Contacted pegascooter and sent him photo of the error code 40.2 and a short video and he express shipped a new controller. Arrived in about 6 or 7 days. Swapped it and good as new.

They have this spin the wheel discount code thing so with the max 600 discount, the 28ah version comes out to under 2300 with free shipping and no tax. Amazing deal. When i ordered, it was $1798 + shipping and due to customs, it was almost $500 which basically came out to the same price as it stands currently as long as you land on the $600 discount which is almost guaranteed. Either $500 or $600 off is guaranteed. Another guy on reddit has posted about receiving his as well so yea. If you don’t mind the beastly size and weight, everything else is amazing

DubS Awesome! For the savings, it’s totally worth the wait. I’m really glad to hear that the after sales service is fantastic also.

Yes. The customer service has been fantastic to say the least. He’s very responsive, even with the time difference. He’s very engaged in the problem at hand and concerns to address the issue in a speedy manner. Even random questions that don’t have anything to do with the purchase or issue at hand, he’s still very responsive. Overall 10 out 10 experience thus far. Would have never known if my talenic order had actually shipped and i had received that scooter. I’m glad that didn’t work out.

DubS Awesome. This is definitely a better scooter than anything from Talenic (if you were lucky enough to actually receive your order), so it worked out well in the end for you.

DubS I think I am going to do it! The 40ah Burn E2 Max from Pega is calling my name. $3200USD all in is too good to pass up (even with the USD to CDN conversion, I’m still saving ~$2000 over buying it locally.

You were right. I have been exchanging emails with Bryan with some questions, and he’s quick to respond and very nice.

That’s awesome man. The 40ah wasn’t available when I had ordered mine but who am I kidding. The 28ah is wayyyy more than enough. Hell, I’m comin from an ES2 Segway so it’s already a major step up lol

Anyways, just be patient and in 5 or 6 weeks, you’ll enjoy the scooter but more importantly, rest assured that at least you’ll be in good hands post purchase as well.

Went on a ride with a friend today. I borrowed his Wolf Warrior GT, and he rode his EUC (my scoot is in the shop). 50km ride and the WW still had 75% battery. The 40ah in the Nami is going to go forever.

I’m so jealous 😞 I’m too broke to afford another scooter and my parents would kill me if I get another one well time to find a way to sell my Hiboy S2R I got a spare battery, spare motor with the tire on, a spare brake disc and spare controller idk how much will that go for Hiboy has at least over 100 miles on it maybe I’ll sell my Vsett as well and get something faster idk

Definitely. If you’re just gonna be riding in D mode which maxes out around 25mph or so, you should get close to 90 miles of range (_150km). That seems like forever to me. I rode it in X mode a few times and i tried to max it out (without turbo mode on) and i chickened out around 40mph and slowed down. Scary fast on a scooter even though it was very stable. I’m comfortable with 25mph so I’ll keep it in D mode lol

DubS lol I ride my current scooter at 50-60kmh (31-37mph) most of the time. I’ve put 3000+kms on it in 4 months. I don’t sweat speed, lol.

I asked Pega about how bad the boxes get trashed during shipping, and they responded with a detailed post about how shipping companies destroy everything. As a result Pega opens, inspects, and repacks every one, as well as they add more wrap and padding to the stem and display, and fill the empty space in the box with foam padding. They also reinforce the corners of the boxes with plastic guards.
Then they posted a video of them actually doing it.
Pega seems legit to me.

They’re definitely legit. As I’ve already mentioned, the box wasn’t damaged at all during shipment. Literally nothing damaged on the box, no scratch, nothing. It was definitely reinforced on the inside and then bubble wrapped around the box for added protection. Arrived in the same condition as it was first shipped off in.
