I am thinking of buying vsett 9 single motor 52V 13Ah but Im not sure if 650W single motor is enough. Do you guys know how fast is the accelerates? Im between this, kaabo mantis 8 and Apollo explorel. I have heard that vsett have the best build quality thats why im thinking the vsett but its not so powerful. What scooter should I buy for 1300 dollars?

I recommend you save a bit more and get at VSETT 9+.
Solid scooter, and more than enough power for most people.

2muchcoffee4me can your VSETT reach top speed? I don’t know why mine only reaches 28 mph and every time I accelerate my battery bar drops to one to two bars and sometimes the voltage. I contact alien rides and the told me it’s hard acceleration but every time I ride it does that I live in a flat terrain and I only weight 150 lbs

I sold my 9+ months ago for something with more power.
I’ve got an Evolv Pro-R now, and I’ve pounded 3000kms on it in 4 months.
As for top speeds, scooters rarely get the top rated speeds, except under perfect conditions (100% battery, flat roads, no wind, etc). They should get close to it though.

The battery gauge is not 100% accurate, and is dynamic. It will constantly change while riding.
It will drop under load as you get voltage sag, and come back up as the load drops. It’s most accurate at a standstill after resting for a minute.

2muchcoffee4me I got the 19 amp version LG battery and they told me LG battery have less voltage sag. I can’t even reach the top speed which is 33 mph only got to 28 mph

Mine is quoted as a 70kmh (43mph) max speed, and it tops out at 68kmh (42mph) with me (155lbs) on it. Stated max speed is under perfect conditions which we never get.

ItsAqua No idea man. I do know that the acceleration REALLY slows as it approaches the max speed to keep from going over. Maybe you didn’t give it long enough?

Don’t know I have the 19 amp version and a lot of factors affect range like weight terrain and weather

Hey Aqua, my Ghost gets voltage sag as well. It doesn’t seem to affect anything that I notice or effects overall performance. Just really weird the way the voltage sag happens on my Ghost compared to my old ebikes. I still need to do some real world range and speed test one day. Riding to work would be perfect (14 miles each way) but I don’t think my knees would like that very much! Heck, borrow the Ghost if you want. See how it voltage drops compared to your escoot.

sc00ter I would love to try your ghost out but I avoid air tires as much as possible because I get a flat every time I ride 😭

niilo the problem with mine is that I actually don’t know what’s wrong with mine because I can’t get it fully charged and I can’t reach the top speed every time I try it stops at 28 mph I’m just going to use it for now and later use my warranty the acceleration is fine but power is limited
