There’s a lot to pick from in this list but many of them come with tubed tires or can’t really perform off road

It really kind of depends on what you mean by “good range” and “light off-road ”… Most off-road scooters with tubeless tires are going to be out of your budget, at least if by off-road you mean more than gravel, flat grass, or occasionally a bit more.

JacobHorton good points. I guess 25-40 mile range. Dirt roads and the occasional Forrest road.

One of the best I can think of is the Mantis V2 - Fluid Edition or Mantis Pro SE (Probably need to switch to nobbier off-road tires though). Both are kinda outside your budget, around $1800, and tubed tires, but an awesome scooted otherwise

btw if you are not constantly riding in the top speed mode you will probably get more range
