I’d say first unplug main yellow connector between controller and battery. I don’t know your mfg. controller, but typical Chinese BLDC controllers you can connect the learn or intelligent wires to begin programming it. I do an additional step I don’t recommend experimenting with on an unknown controller….it is arcing my controllers positive input terminal to the ground terminal with battery disconnected. This drains the stored current in main capacitors and removes all power from controller. it creates a loud arcing sound so be for warned.
