I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t seem to find an answer to this problem and the manufacturer has been nearly impossible to contact.
Backstory: Bought the Alpha from Amazon on May 31st, accepted delivery of it on June 6th, rode it 3 times and wrecked it breaking my arm. I just turned it back on after healing and getting clearance to do things again. I’m getting an E2 error, constant beeping, and nothing else. I’ve looked several places but not really seen much in the way of explanation other than “The accelerator needs to be replaced” (on this site: https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/586157/My+scooter+display+turns+on+but+scooter+doesn't+run#:~:text=The%20online%20version%20of%20the,accelerator%20needs%20to%20be%20replaced. ).
There are no accelerators available on the manufacturer’s store and I can’t find a local shop that works on them.
If there’s anyone who has an idea of what I can do to either fix this or get someone to fix it I’d greatly appreciate it.
yes i have sugestion , get proper gear , buy helmet (new one ) , buy glowes , kneel , elbow protectors.
A bit late no?
Sounds like the scooter is telling you something. Get a quality brand scooter, safety gear and learn how to ride it. Start in eco mode 100 miles until your comfortable.
Geez, guys. Super duper helpful info there. I can fix my own stupidity, thanks anyway, but do you have any advise on fixing the issue with the scooter?
ChrisLittrell you can look up hover 1 alpha thumb throttle and see the options. You’re going to have to replace the throttle yourself
ItsAqua honest advice and my personal opinion is to get a new scooter that’s not by hover
